Good Afternoon Ladies

Good afternoon, ladies,

I was reading my daily bible verse, and the text spoke to me, and I thought I'd share it,
We often find ourselves drawn to the charms of hidden treasures, those marked-down trinkets that promise worth beyond their tags. I’ve learned, like a seasoned shopper, that true value isn't always reflected in a price; real worth is intrinsic and eternal.
There was a time when sense of worth mirrored the fluctuating prices of the marketplace, discounted by circumstance and undervalued by my own misjudgment. I’d pour my heart out into fleeting things, into the ephemeral and the transient, only to find myself lost, my identity diluted among the clutter I had accumulated.
Yet, amid the journey of self-discovery and amidst the rubble of misplaced investments, I encountered a profound truth that has been reshaping my existence. Remember in this divine economy, we are of immeasurable worth. Not because of what we do or what we own, but because we are His. We are called to embrace this truth, to hold it close to our hearts as we navigate through life’s markets and mazes. And as we do, we find that our true value propels us toward our God-given purpose, a path marked not by world gain but eternal significance.

The author uses shopping as a metaphor to discuss self-worth and describes how people often let outside factors or possessions define their value. The author shares a personal realization that true worth isn't determined by material things or achievements, but by our inherent value as creations of God. Embracing this truth brings purpose and meaning beyond what the world measures.

Let us remember that we are fearfully and wonderfully made by God (Psalm 139:14), and His love for us is immeasurable. Therefore, let us not measure our worth by earthly standards, but by the truth that we are God's beloved children.

Have a blessed day
